That the State of New York made the right decision to classify the land at the base of the St. Regis Mountain and Hurrican Mountain towers as Historic. This will allow for the restoration of the towers.
The next step is officially organize the Friends of Hurricane Mountain as a not-for profit organization. The group can then apply to the State of New York to adopt a natural resource.
An evaluation of the tower structure must be completed before any work on the tower can begin.
